My Cousin (Who shall remain nameless) has had his School Laptop Kill it's self... and not surprisingly it hasn't been backed-up recently.
As far as I can tell, the main problem is that the computer has run out of HD space (I seriously hope that's the problem).
Here's my dilemma...
It's a Win2K Machine with NTFS as a file system. Bootdisks don't help... Or do they...

I'm trying to use some software from the following sites to help me out...
Offline NT Password & Registry Editor.
Cmos, LILO, NT passwords - Data recovery.
NTFS for Linux (Alpha).
Sysinternals Freeware - Information for Windows NT and Windows 2000 - NTFSDOS.
Sysinternals Freeware - Information for Windows NT and Windows 2000 - NTFSDOS Professional Edition.
NTFSDOS Pro- Winternals Software - Advanced System Tools (Yikes this is expensive... US$299).
